Why stack models?

One app is one opinion. Twelve is a forecast you can trust.

01Consensus beats any single model

The median of many independent models is, over time, more accurate than any one of them. MeteoStack computes it hour by hour.

02Disagreement is information

When ECMWF says rain and GFS says sun, a normal app hides it. We show it, with a 0–100 confidence score for every day.

03Rain odds that mean something

"70%" here means 7 out of 10 weather models predict rain. Simple, honest, and built by a pluviophile.

Model vs model

The honest answer to "which weather model is better?", with live data.

What is a multi-model weather forecast?

Weather forecasts come from numerical weather models: supercomputer simulations run by national weather services such as ECMWF in Europe, NOAA in the United States, DWD in Germany or the Met Office in the UK. Each model has its own resolution, physics and biases, so their forecasts differ, sometimes a lot.

MeteoStack puts all of them on one screen. Each model is a row in the stack; the consensus row is their median. When the rows look alike, the forecast is solid. When they diverge, you know the weather is genuinely uncertain, and you can see exactly which model says what.
